Adopt a Family 2021

Again lets give a big thank you to Liz for doing another wonderful job shopping for the Adopt a Family 2021.
The following information is from Liz. This year we had a Family of 3 comprised of a Mother & 2 Boys ages 14 & 8. The letters from the boys were caring & simple - each included that they were grateful for our helping their Mother who works the graveyard shift, and they enjoy playing board games all together. We were able to grant their wishes!
•Boy 8 asked for Playdoh so we got him a 65 pack of Playdoh, a Playdoh slime kit, and a sloth paint a figurine
•Boy 14 likes to draw so we got him a sketch portfolio packed with supplies, additional sketch supplies & special drawing paper •Mom got a warm soft blanket & a set of 3 holiday frames
•Each received a $100 Target gift card and the Family received a grocery gift card which I placed in individual stockings, decorated on a gold shiny tree in a basket filled with a holiday reindeer, various cookies and candy ornaments. Thanks to Elaine for coordinating with the Resource Center to receive this family and driving the sleigh to drop the 5 bags off to them. This would not have been possible without ALL of your generosity. Thank you again as together, we made the Christmas of this Family Merry & Bright! Happy Holidays & see you in 2022! 🎄LIZ
